In 1956 C.R. Roberts broke the football color barrier in Texas college football when the University of Southern California played the University of Texas Longhorns of the Southwest Football Conference deep in the heart of Texas. C. R. continues to break barriers and fight injustice. By the way USC beat Texas 42-20 and C. R. gained 251 yards and scored 3 touchdowns in just 12 minutes of play.
